| The walk has good views of Cardigan Bay as it follows the coast southwards through Wallog, Clarach and the Constitution Hill at Aberystwyth from which you can make a final descent by the Cliff Railway if you seek variety. The walk in this direction is suited to those staying at Aberystwyth, using public transport to get to the start point in Borth. The ''B'' grading comes from the steep cliff ascents and descents mainly between Borth and Wallog.
